So impressed with how quick Danny came out from calling him. He completely made us feel at ease and got on with the job straight away. Danny talked through everything with us and explained what was needed to be done. He was very friendly and highly professional and even came back to check the rodents had gone. We had a wasps nest which was being accessed underneath some UPCV cladding above the back door. The wasps initially didn’t pose a problem but suddenly increased in number and started to dive bomb and attack whenever we went out.
Danny Sykes visited us the same day I called. 5 minutes and a good blast of dry powder later, job done. No more wasps!
It’s great to be able to walk outside without ducking down in an attempt to avoid angry wasps. Money well spent.

Rang Sykes after reading reviews and they came within a few hours. Had some scrating in a stud wall. They confirmed it was rodents. They offered me all the options and advised what needed to be done for each.
The work was completed very fast and with little mess. They then checked all around my property to make sure no other problems. The price was very good for the work done. I asked about a couple of other things (ants & slugs) & instead of taking more money from me, gave me good advice instead.
Overall great honest, professional work. Highly recommend. 5 star service

Had a wasp problem. Giving 1 hour waiting time. The guy came and did what he had to do and the problem was sorted. Within 2 hours we were wasp free again. Brilliant job and very competitive rate. You won't find many that are better or cheaper than Sykes pest control. Many thanks again guys.

Absolutely fantastic. We had a tree bee problem up on the guttering. Received various quotes averaging £110. This one was by far the cheapest at £65, so naturally, we were a bit dubious wondering whether Sykes would do the job properly with them being half the price of others.
However, the chap was fantastic. Came promptly and was very honest, he actually said the bee problem would go away itself in around 4 weeks if we wanted to save our money. We contemplated leaving them alone but decided 4 weeks is a long time as the kids refuse to go out in the garden with bees swarming over.
After the pest controller sprayed some stuff, sods law, it started pouring down and the rain didn't stop for 4/5 days! We were worried the chemicals that he had sprayed would get washed away but we've had a few days of dry weather now and haven't seen any bees so it appears whatever he sprayed worked.
Lovely, lovely chap. Honest, reliable and very knowledgeable.
I hope we never need the service again! But if we do, would definitely use Sykes.

Danny was really quick to respond to my enquiry online and able to attend to our bee problem the next day. On arriving was quick to get straight on with the job at hand helpfully taking away most of the bees and dealing the last remaining stubborn few who didn’t want to leave.

Sykes Pest Control have done a great job to get rid of the squirrels in our loft.After many nights of not getting much sleep due to banging noises in our loft,Danny came to rescue. He’s punctual, very professional and gives the right advice on what needs to be done.Not only has he got rid of the squirrels and saved us lots of damage being done to the loft, he has also fixed the hole they were using to get in. Fantastic guy. Found a rat in my house. Danny came round found where the rat got in placed some rat poison. Haven't seen the rat since. He came back 14 days later to seal entry point for rat. Lovely guy. Knows what he's talking about and has 26 years experience. Would highly recommend.
